We’ve all done it at some point. Remember the times when you were walking down the road, and all of a sudden found yourself sprawled full length on the asphalt?

I’ve done that, many times.

Maybe you have, too. But perhaps it wasn’t literal falling. It was falling where you were juggling so many responsibilities yet found that you couldn’t handle them all. Where you found yourself failing in spite of how hard you were trying. Maybe you got everything sorted out… but maybe you didn’t. Maybe you fell.

Or the times when you found yourself caught in a bad habit. Maybe you were being arrogant and ignored everyone else when they tried to suggest that maybe you were doing something wrong. And then one day, it all came crashing down.

Who was there to pick you up?

Who was there to give you a second chance?

For me, my pick up was God. He’s the ultimate pick up when things are going absolutely wrong. He’s the one who’s been trying to get my attention when I’m straying away from the path I should be on.

From Psalm 118:

14 The LORD is my strength and my song;
       he has become my salvation.

 15 Shouts of joy and victory
       resound in the tents of the righteous:
       “The LORD’s right hand has done mighty things!

 16 The LORD’s right hand is lifted high;
       the LORD’s right hand has done mighty things!”

 17 I will not die but live,
       and will proclaim what the LORD has done.

I also have wonderful friends. They’re awesome.

So join me. This is a journey we’re all taking together.
